Mena and Ben, I think this is a great video that helped clarify for me your vision of the service. I think information needs to be featured more prominently on the vox homepage to help potential subscribers decide if Vox is for them.
If you do that, please consider what your message is for more-seasoned bloggers who are accustomed to ad hoc, cross-site networking faciliated by trackback and blogrolls. Are you interested in such people? What would you say to encourage them to use vox? I've got a couple of posts on my own vox blog about this.
I really like vox, and I think it has the potential to be the best blogging service yet. Please keep pushing your design so that you can attract and support the bloggers you describe in your video as well as bloggers developing larger audiences.

I like the idea that you want bloggers to be a part of the "bigger thing." A lot of people may think others blog just to write and post pictures but you seemed to get a great idea out there. Blogging isn't just a lifestyle anymore; it's become a part of culture.

It would help if, in addition to "friends" and "family," I could create my own groups with which to share stories/ideas/photos with. For instance, there are things I'd want to share with very close friends and close family but not with acquaintances or people who are "family" but not someone I want reading everything I have to say. Custom groups in the neighborhood, basically.
As a way to pull people into my Vox, it would also be great if I could email pictures or other media to an email address outside of Vox for a friend to view and potentially get connected to the community.
I love the concept and the technology. Keep the mods coming! :)

I like some of what I see in Vox, it has some real promise, though it's not perfect. One thing I thought of would be more cross connection with Livejournal. I know I can post on Vox, and automatically cross post on LJ, which is handy (though I haven't tested what embedding a picture or what not will do), but if you allowed me to subscribe to my friend's LJs as maybe an RSS feed, I might be tempted to use Vox more often. I can read my lj friends, comment on their journal using openid, and I can post to lj via Vox. That would tie the two together very smoothly, and would certainly be welcome to me.
