We have to give a huge Vox shout out to saska, whose “Customer service gone shockingly right” post yesterday got a ton of well-deserved attention.
In her post, Saska shared a story about an exceptional experience she had with the Nintendo customer service department. Picture it: A broken Wii, a forlorn child, and visions of the inevitable weeks of waiting for the UPS guy to show up with a new system. But no! A quick phone call yielded a friendly human at Nintendo, a service center located minutes from her home, and her problem solved in person while she waited. And the little one even had the opportunity to play the newest Wii games while waiting for the system to be fixed. (Who's jealous?)
Saska blogged about her amazing experience in her Vox, and it naturally struck a chord with thousands of people. That single Vox post became the #1 story yesterday on two of the most popular link-voting sites: Digg.com and Reddit.com. Hundreds of thousands of people came by to read the tale. (And of course we were touched that she dropped in a thank you to Vox in an update to her post, especially because here at Team Vox, We ♥ Wii too!)
We talk a lot about how Vox was created with personal blogging at the top of our minds, and that it’s your friends, family and neighbors who you most often want to write about and write to. But Vox is a community full of incredible stories and storytellers, and this is another example that a personal story can be gripping for thousands of people all over the world. Saska describes herself in her Vox profile as “a photographer, a writer, a reader, a gamer, a mother, and a geek.” Nothing in there about “publisher” or “pundit”. She’s just someone who touched a lot of people by being herself, and how cool is that?
Our tech team works hard to make sure that if your great personal story catches the attention of a few hundred thousand people outside your neighborhood, you don’t have to worry about Sudden Blog Failure. So, Voxers, keep blogging to your friends, family and neighbors, and don’t be afraid to write the occasional story that warms the heart of tens or thousands.

- You will be able to make your own group(s)
- Groups can be public or private
- Groups can be invite-only, or open for anyone to join

We'll give you more details about
exactly how Groups will work in our next few posts. Stay tuned to Team Vox for a new set of
