Vox Tip: Selecting Multiple Files

Did you know that you can select multiple files in Vox for mass actions like posting, deleting and adding to collections? Watch Mena's video demonstration from the Organize screen:

You can use these same actions while you're in the Compose screen to select multiple files.

Note that you can only select multiple files on the page that you're viewing. This means that if you select files from Page 1 and then click through to Page 2, your Page 1 selections will be lost. You can work around that issue by first filtering your assets by a tag. For instance, if I want to post photos of Steve's chihuahua Rudy, I can first search on the tag "dogs" and then select the three photos of Rudy that I want to share.

Can you do this when adding your photos, etc to groups? or do you have to do it one by one... cause that stinks.

I think that when you add a post to a group, the group also gets all the pictures associated with the post. So you could just make a post with all the pictures and add the post to the group.

that's not what i mean. i have some pics that i've added to vox that i haven't written about, that i just have in my "organize" or "collection" to view or for someone to peruse. how am i suppose to add a bunch of those at once?

'Twould be great if this worked for adding to groups too. Can we have an 'Add to Group' button in the Organize section, which would enable this multiple-selection trick for participating in groups?

I'm sorry to post this here but I've trd submitting my suggestions, I know you guys must get alot of these. But not one responds to your submission. When will we get "Upload a folder" options or FTP ACCESS? Why Dont We have subtitles for Composing post team vox? Why Cant Hosts make "Sticky" Posts to their group? Why cant you decide to make your post "Group Specific" IE: You dont want your family members who know your vox account knowing you a apart of said group. Even if they still knew you were in a group. At least they couldn't read your group post, If they were not a member. needs more post to (public/neihborhood/group only/friends/family/ect)

Once again I appologize for the rant. I still love you team vox.

More with the useless suggestions: this morning, I found myself wanting to add two videos, a book, and a CD, as a multiple selection, but there's no way to do that, even if you tag everything with, say, 'fictional world'. Man, I'm getting so much mileage out of that QotD....

Have patience, Taken - remember that Vox Groups is still in beta and we'll be releasing lots of improvements and features in the coming weeks/months.
