Vox Tip: Quickly Share Media Across Blogs
Voxers like to share, and we're always excited to see how you're using Vox to share your stories with others. We also know you're busy people, so we've added some quick links on media items from Amazon and YouTube to grab content you see on Vox to share on your own blog.
Maybe you're browsing videos on someone's blog and find a video from YouTube that inspires you or just makes you feel good, like the video from the Free Hugs Campaign. Sometimes, we all could just use a friendly hug, so we'd like to share that with you. If you want to pass the hugs along to your neighbors, you could link to this post and share it that way, but why not add the video to your own blog? Just click "Add to your Vox library" to add it to your videos without even leaving the page you're visiting. The video will be waiting for you on your Organize page if you decide you'd like to write a post about it in the future.
If you'd like to share the video in a post, then click "Blog this". With one click, the video will be added to your own videos, and you'll be taken to Compose with it already inserted in a new post for you. These features help you spread the word about the media you're enjoying at other Vox blogs with just a click. And we're sure you'll find an amazing variety of media from your fellow Voxers.
"Blog this" also shows up on your own media items. Maybe you're adding a description to a photo you just added to your blog, and you realize that you'd like to write a post about the story behind the photo. Instead of going to Compose and then finding that photo to insert in a post, you can save yourself time and a few clicks by using "Blog this" to open up the Compose page with the item already added to the post.
That's a quick introduction to the links, and Adding and blogging Vox items will give you some more details. For those of you who are already using these quick posting features, what are some of the media items you've been sharing?
