Vox Tip: Mobile Posting
Have you set up mobile posting yet? All you need is a phone or mobile device capable of sending email and you can post to Vox from anywhere. We mentioned this in our last installment of Release Notes, but we wanted to take a moment to walk through the steps.
To set up your mobile posting:
- Go to the Mobile section of the Account settings page
- Vox will give you a super secret, lengthy personalized email address where you can send your texts and photos. (It may take a few moments to make sure you input this address correctly, but most phones and devices will save it in a 'recent recipients' type list so you can access it easily without having to type it again.)
- You have the option to set up multiple addresses with different tags and privacy levels. For instance, you might want an address for public posts, another for friends-only or family-only photos, and yet another for the Vox Hunt submissions. For the Vox Hunt address, you can make sure each entry is tagged "vox hunt".
- You can also choose to just have your photo added to your photo stream, without it appearing in a post. You can always add it to a post later on, if you'd like.
