Vox Tip: A Few of Your Favorite Things
While you're exploring Vox, you come across a lot of great content. You could set a bookmark in your browser for that apple strudel recipe or that cute photo of a kitten's whiskers, but why do that when you can Favorite it right in Vox?
Think of Favorites as Vox bookmarks. Favorite the items that interest you on Vox, and they're always just a click away. Also, marking something as a Favorite keeps new discussion on that item in your Recent Activity section of VoxWatch. You'll always be kept in the loop! You can Favorite your own items as well. Maybe you shared an original knitting pattern for a pair of warm woolen mittens. By Favoriting that, you keep it close at hand for yourself and display it on your profile as something that means a lot to you.
Marking an item as a Favorite is really easy to do. Just go to the individual asset page for the item and click Favorite underneath the item's title. Change your mind? No problem. Just click Favorite again, and it's no longer in your Favorites list.
So you've been marking items as Favorites, and now you can't find them. Where did those sneaky critters go? They've just been hanging out on your Profile page! Your most recent Favorites will show right on your profile, and if you have a lot of Favorites, then you'll also see a link to see the rest of them.
Interested in finding new things to see or read? Check out the list of Recently Favorited items on VoxWatch to see what other people are enjoying. Or take a look at the profiles of people you like to see what they're Favoriting.
You might notice that some items have a number next to the Favorite link. That shows you how many people have marked that item as a Favorite, and to see exactly who has done that, just click on the number. You'll be taken to a page that lists everyone who has Favorited the item. You might find some new friends by seeing who has Favorited something of yours!
