Vox + Flickr = ♥

Vox and Flickr have always played well together, but sharing your Flickr photos on Vox has just gotten easier.

Thanks to our friends on the Flickr team, you can now post photos to your Vox blog directly from your Flickr account!

It's simple to set it up. Just log in to your Flickr account and go to the page where you can add a blog. Enter in your Vox account email and password, confirm it and then you're all done.

While you're browsing your own photos on Flickr, just click the "Blog This" button above any photo and you'll be able to post it directly to your Vox blog. You should note that the photo will appear in the post with a link back to its page on Flickr, but the photo won't be imported into your Vox photo library.

You can still easily insert one of your Flickr photos right from the Vox Compose screen. Read our Knowledge Base article on Managing Photos for more info, and set up your Flickr account in Vox if you haven't already.

New camera and a new way to post to Vox, on the same day. Yay! Here's the moon last night.

Love the new feature because it let's you blog any flickr photo, not just yours.

I've been waiting for this feature! I already use Flickr's "Blog This" on Blogger and LiveJournal, so it was only a matter of time before Vox would have this feature as well.

I had been meaning to give Vox a spin so i could post about it in the Virtual Communities conference on The WELL -- but it was the announcent on Flickr that got me here... so nicely implemented! it's easy from either direction, and there's more control from this side. kudos, amigos!

The announcement on my flickr home news made me remember I had an account here, and actually post something :P
