TypePad + Vox = ♥

We know that many Voxers also have a TypePad blog, and there's an easy way to connect the two.

There's now a widget you can use to point your TypePad readers to your Vox blog. To get your own, head to the TypePad widgets page and click on the Vox Bling link.

To customize your bling just pick a color, pick a slogan, and enter your Vox URL and in no time at all you'll have great looking Vox bling on your TypePad blog!

Great, but I don't have a Typepad blog and I don't really see the point of linking the blogs together....when are we going to be able to modify the sidebar contents ourselves? Or that people outside of Vox could comment???! These are the only things hindering my total migration to Vox.

I want to import my typepad posts and completely migrate. I have no desire to have multiple blogs because on VOX I can have multiple audiences (privacy levels.) OH I almost forgot ...

I'm somewhat annoyed with the Vox team's lack of a response to the growing chorus of non-Typepad blog integration requests. I understand there are programming/platform integration issues. I'd be willing to bet that most bloggers on Vox understand this as well. I understand if this isn't a top feature or even something you'll get to any time soon. What I don't understand is not giving us any information. I thought blogging was supposed to be about transparency - open and honest communication. So where's our transparency?
