We're starting to notice a trend: Voxers doing the [this is good] gesture in real life. There are those who say that our own clamhead started it, but regardless of who did it first, it seems to be catching on...

We don't even know what to call it: throwing the [tig] brackets, making the [this is good] gesture? Whatever you call it, we love to see it and we even featured in the [this is good] box on the Explore page today.

Tomorrow's Vox Hunt prompt will be "Show us your [this is good] gesture", so get your cameras ready!

I'm cool with "TIG," but how is it pronounced? Is it individual letters ("T-I-G"), or to rhyme with the word "pig," like the first syllable of "Tigger". Hmmmm...I feel a song coming on:

I'd indicate the correct way in which to "flash the brackets", but there are one or more rules which prevent me from doing so.

Jason, I think Justin was probably referring to the programming language objective-c, whose expressions are always enclosed in [brackets]. so for example you'd say something like [myArray push:myObject]; ;o) take care.

i'm not in on the joke, but some googling turns up this somewhat informative metafilter thread, for those of us who are confused by all of this :)
