The Vox Handbook (in Japanese)

Handbook in Haiku
Would be very cool indeed.
So easy to read!
So why no book in English, why do the Japanese get everything that's great in this World. Some of the fastest trains, one of the best cellphone Networks...need I go on ;-)
[this is good]
oh what can I say?
this entry that makes me smile
maybe [this is good]?

VOX is understandable.
Alas, not in Japanese.
I need a competent translator, please.

My Voxless bro speaks
in words I comprehend not;
he could read this book.

Vox makes me happy
[this is good] i love all of it
always in my life

Oh so many things
I did not know existed
And then there was Vox

Which is harder, say?
Blogging on vox or learning
to read Japanese?

Oh Vox is easy
Do whatever you feel like
Just because you can

Why not join the group
that shares common interest
Japanese writing?
Seeing Japanese,
Problem with vox--I need help,
Will someone help me?

But that's pretty cool that you have a handbook on how to use Vox! It's crazy what you can write a handbook on these days!

I wrote a haiku

about a burrito once

but not about Vox.

I blog to unwind
twisted, tangled thoughts within.
You read it and smile.

ha ha, i like yours.
I'm new to Vox, and
my son's girl knows Japanese.
Please give it to me.

I wrote a haiku

about a burrito once.

A comment, and a haikuish suggestion - not an entry. :)

People who use Vox
Should be able to Google
Please google Haiku.
[いいですね]

Hahahah. So I'm not the only one reading and counting. XD

However neat this idea is I don't actually want a book - I can't read japanese. But I wanted to Haiku!

Umm... Vox handbook? Isn't the whole attraction the fact that you don't need a handbook?

You could fit everything a person needed to know about vox in a pamphlet.

Seriously, what's in there?
haikus. lots and lots of informational haikus. so i'm told. :)
[いいですね]
I want a copy of this book! badly wanted. haha...Nice work teamVOXjapan. :D
[this is good]

I think what to write.
Sitting at my computer.
For my Vox haiku.

[this is good]

Ha - you've broken the rules Lezlee and put your 17 syllables in one line - I like that!

I like the 'blog to unwind' one too.

Team Vox have brought out some creativity here - hope they do more!

(This is not a Haiku btw unless I've really broken the rules!)
[참 좋습니다]

I speak Korean
I could guess at Japanese
Please give it to me
Ha. Wan't meant to be a haiku. Guess I'm stuck on 17 syllables, if you include the :).

Oh, and Thanks!

Yeah - I included the ;) - I guess that breaks two rules! it's got us all going round speaking in Haiku!

The rules only apply in English though - the Zen exponants say its something that can be said in a single breath and translations of Basho - the original Haiku exponants have far less syllables. The Japanese have pictograms so it's got to be different I guess.
today sucked so hard
because i wanted to buy
fish and i couldn't.

haiku you Vox me
rising popularity
lead me Japanese.

俳句君

Wow JRFiction - I wasn't expecting anyone would illustrate the difference between the Japanese and English Haiku - that's excellent!
A Renga I think is where you write another Haiku verse starting with or bouncing off the last line of the previous haiku verse (you can write a whole series of them!) - here's one following on from Lezlee's latest -

Some days are like fish
diving beneath rocks, hidden,
hard to catch, empty.

Vox in Japanese?

Those characters are cool!

It's almost like art.

Learning nihongo.
Handbook would be great practice.
O-ne-gai-shi-masu!

Thanks HOBO! It`s good fun, makes me think a little harder to capture the same feeling in both languages. It can also be said that rules about Haiku are not limited to 5-7-5 syllables either, purists say that there should be a reference to the season, an observed element of nature and finally a human emotional response to it.

I doubt though that it matters that much any more, just so long as everyone is having fun.

I would also like to know when this competition ends, and if the winning entries will be published, Krissy?

alone and uninspired

i lost my camera today

vox could make me smile

[this is good]

what is a vox account

without lots of photographs

what to do tsk tsk

O H a Y o! . . . YaTTa! A VOX Handbook! besides learning online...that book would also be great to be added as a collectors item...OneGaishimas!
