Take Your Dog to Work Day

Although almost every day at Six Apart is Take Your Dog to Work Day, Friday was extra special because it was the official Take Your Dog to Work Day! Plus, as lovers of blogs and animals, we think it's great that active blogger and Human Society's President and CEO, Wayne Pacelle, thinks having dogs around the office is a good reminder of "who we're working for."

We realize some people have it ruff and aren't lucky enough to be able to bring their dog to work, but hopefully these pictures taken at Six Apart last Friday will get your tails wagging... And let me tell you, it's harder than it looks to get all the doggies and their fetching owners in one picture.

I think this is such a great Idea. I took my dog with me to work a couple of times. There were people who objected but most everyone enjoyed his presents and even played with him at times.

I work in a veterinary practise so for our staff it's always take your dog to work day, but it's great that other people get a chance to do so too. And Penelope and Ruby, soooo cute :)

I knew I loved the Vox Team, now knowing you are dog people makes me love you that much more. The picture of Penelope and Rudy is pure beauty.

Sadly, I'm not a dog owner although I am investigating the possibility of introducing a "Bring your cat to work day" in my workplace.

Should go down like a bucket of cold sick, I would imagine. :)

I love the pictures. Your doggies are so cute! Thorougly good. i wish we had a cat day too! i wonder how my cat would be... I occationaly see people walking around with their cats on their shoulers.. know anyone who does that. Now that's talent!
