We've got a brand new contest and sponsorship to announce!

You may know HP as a technology company. They now want to help you collaborate, contribute and create! Everyone has something to say. HP hopes they can inspire you to share your creative passions on Vox through photography, writing, fashion, art and more.

HP's sponsoring a contest around Vox Hunt for the next four weeks. Here are the contest details:

The Vox Hunt prompt will follow a new theme each week.
When you respond to a Vox Hunt prompt, you'll be automatically entered into a contest.
At the end of each week we'll select the five best responses and post them to a poll in the contest blog (polls will appear a week after the theme has ended).
The Vox community will vote for the winners: One Grand Prize winner will receive a $150 gift certificate and two runners-up will each receive a $25 gift certificate to either iTunes, Amazon.com, HP.com, or Art.com.

Head to the "What Do You Have To Say?" contest landing page to see the dates for each theme and to read the Official Rules for the contest. You might want to add the contest blog to your neighborhood so you can see new polls and vote on your favorite entries to win.

many thanks for the heads-up. I'll be sure to not respond to Vox Hunt prompts for the duration of this contest.

Doesn't matter, you have to register on some site before what you write counts.

Ick. All I have to say... ick.

I wondered about that "what do you have to say?" tag.

I think it sounds fun... but I'm also naturally competitive.

If Vox wasn't so darn free I think I would "have a lot more to say"... but I'll just keep my mouth shut. My dad used to tell me beggars can't be choosers. Ha!

There are always so many restrictions. I'd like to see a non-sponsored thing of any sort with rules that exceed no more than sentence. That might be fun . Imagine you thinking up something like that & on your own. Mojave Burn

and i wish... that we outside of the USA could take part in some sort of competition too...

interesting.

Some interesting ideas can stem from such whimsical contests. For those of us with too much time on our hands, this sort of thing keeps the creativity flowing. May the best lazy, good-for-nothing, office-chair jockey win!
