Service Update: Vox Downtime Tonight

Tonight, starting at 6:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time (that's 1:00 A.M. UTC/GMT), we'll be taking Vox offline for a bit in order to move the service to a brand new home in some bright, shiny new server racks. We don't expect to be offline for more than an hour or two, but we apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to invest in Vox's infrastructure!

Update: we've postponed tonight's maintenance, and will let you know when we reschedule. Thanks for your patience!

At least it is happening on Thursday night, which is my busiest TV watching night of the week.

Oh my gosh! Heaven forbid we'd loose our stuff. What would we do? Handle all this with kid gloves.

I Hope I Dont Lose My New Stuff Oh Come On You Have To be Careful Thankx Anyway For Doing A Update

I am hopeful, several years ago Google built a double to safeguard its service. Their first test run of shutting off the main and switching everything to the new backup servers went off without any noticeable glitches. considering the size of Google and the fact that this went so well on the first try, I am indeed hopeful for Vox, besides, I've got a lot of stuff here that I have nowhere else. dumb of me, I know, but I'm always late on bills too. I should work on my self discipline. I really should.
