Explore through Feeds
Here's a little trick on how to keep up with tag-specific posts from people outside your neighborhood.
At Vox, we generate a number of feeds for the various pages that you and other Vox members create. If you go to the explore page or click on a global tag and scroll to the botoom of the page, you'll notice a little feed icon. That icon links to the RSS feed for that particular tag.
So if you want to subscribe to all the public posts that are tagged (for example) QotD, just subscribe to that feed in your newsreader of choice (NetNewsWire, FeedDemon, MyYahoo and LiveJournal are just a few). Not only will you be able to read all the posts in one place, but you'll have the entire post -- not just an excerpt.

That is awesome. Thank you.
nice tip. thx.
Cool beans!
What would be even better would be a way to consolidate tags into one feed. For example, if I'm interested in the following tags:
veronica mars
indie
mp3
rush
I could have one feed that would give me all posts (or better yet all posts, photos, audio and video) that use that tag.
Hohoho... this is a great tip. I have a same question: Possible to have a feed having multiple tags?
not just an excerpt - [this is good, very very good]
great!
This is a good tip. But I have a question. What are the chances of turning our "neighborhood" in to a feed reader? That way we could keep up with not only feeds from tags we want to keep up on, but also possibly our LJ friends list as we try to get them all converted. Just a thought.
thanks for the tip
I also love that you can subscribe to the full feed and not just a few lines.
Hooray! No more clicking ad nauseam to read a feed...
Keep up the good work!
I have a 'question of the day': why can't I justify my entry text? Lol.
Other than that, and the Google Ads, love love love the service.
