Become a Vox Fan on Facebook
Gimme a V! Gimme an O! Gimme an X! What's that spell? VOX!
What better way to tell the world how much you love Vox than to announce it on Facebook? That's right: Vox now has an official Facebook page! Become a fan of Vox.com on Facebook and let your friends know what you really care about: staying connected with friends and family through blog posts, photos, videos and comments.
Once you're a fan, you can also add photos and videos to the page, write on the wall, and connect with other Voxers in ways you may not have previously. Plus, it's a great opportunity to let people know about your Vox blog, or start discussion topics. To become a fan, just visit the official Vox.com Facebook page and click the "Become a Fan" button in the upper right hand corner.
Once you've joined, why not post a response to the current discussion topic? Just post a link (and a brief description, if you'd like) to what you consider one of your all-time best Vox posts.
What are you waiting for? Become a Vox.com fan on Facebook today!

Facebook might not be every VOXer/VOXter's cup of tea, but Facebook seems to be doing well and so I'm sure this is a step in the right direction. As long as Team VOX and Six Apart continue to encourage posts of quality, it should be all good.
Are VOX and facebook not in competition? I mean they both target the same market? I'm not sure if this is of benefit to VOX.
I like VOX and ofter championed it to friends who are face bookers, and for VOX to have a facebook page hurts.
I dont think that facebook is gonna start a VOX page. Lets ask ourselves why that is?
So, this move confuses me now...
No, I would disagree. I would say that it is more accurate to state that Facebook and MySpace are in competition, considering their design and very broad appeal. It is my opinion, however, that Facebook is the better choice; and so I am glad that Six Apart is advertising with them instead of... well, you know what I mean.
VOX itself is more like a gated blogging community. Facebook is not really set up for long form blogging.

I came over from LiveJournal, which bears a little more in common with VOX. I found VOX to have a more family/community feel than LiveJournal does presently. We could debate the question of whether or not Facebookers coming to VOX will write blogs of quality, but again, I would not agree that both are aimed at the same audience. They most clearly are not.
I'm new member how to join gathering putrajaya this 3rd august, name: khairi , mazda BA lantis, place: seremban n9
Wrong. You might as well be asking if faceboo and myspace are in competition. FB & 'space, to me, are more or less people or band profiles, they eventually expanded into the blogging territory - but if you ask me, since I have used both service, they are lacking.
I have given up on both FB and MS because after a while (especially if you've accrue a ton of friends), they become useless. With FB, at first the zombies biting you was haha, but after a while they become an annoyance.
