Amazon Conduit Not Working [this is sad]

Some of you may have noticed that right now you cannot add books from Amazon to your Vox library. Giving people a glimpse into what's on your night stand is important to many of you, so I just wanted to reassure you that we are doing our best to get this bug fixed. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks, Daisy! Vox seems a little buggy lately with creating posts, commenting and a few other things. Glad to know there are folks there.

Even though I don't use that feature it's good to hear (read) the voice of Vox.

Any ETA on a fix?

I don't think it's just books. I can't seem to add audio and video from Amazon too

It has taken me about two hours just now to get the edit screen up because I made a typo on a post I had written (rather than a few seconds). So something is up. I hope they get it fixed soon.

You're right - it's the entire Amazon conduit. I only use it for books, so I wasn't thinking about audio and video when I posted that. My bad.

Jack, I'm not sure why that happened, but we're looking into it. Please let me know if this happens again. Sorry about that!

Any update on this? Really really want to link to a book. And you guys make money when I do and people buy!

Is this problem actually being actively addressed and resolved? Vox seems to be falling apart. Is 6A just going to continue to slowly abandon it or ?? Just curious. I've been using Vox for nearly three years and I think it's got tons of potential - just sad that it's been left to flounder.

First the "Snap Technology" hover/preview feature goes away and then this happens. Vox's inability to resolve this technical problem makes me think there are bigger problems afoot. Is Vox in some kind of financial trouble ? I'm thinking things might not be all well at Vox and Six Apart.
I might be moving to another blog host. Something that allows me to do what I was able to do at Vox. Until recently.

Thanks for the news. Well on my bedside is Wilbur Smith - The Quest and Andrew Marr - History of modern Britain. Has anyoneesle read these.I have just started both - I like to keep 2 books on the go at the same time - 1 too "read" and one to "study".

Here's hoping that this gets fixed soon. Woudn't really be Vox without it

‘Travel Resorts’ above might explain some the trouble: the sploggers have been overrunning Vox.

Incidentally, folks, don’t be too hard on Daisy. She’s running a 102°F temperature, and might be our biggest advocate inside Six Apart at the moment.

I read Daisy's blog, and it says she's not feeling well. So that may be part of the delay in updates. As for Vox, I'm not sure why they haven't repaired the problem yet.

Helllllooooo? Any body? Bueller? Seriously, while I think we all appreciate that we've been told that someone, somewhere is working on it, it's now been a problem for at least ten days, with no updates on progress or an eta on the fix for a week. This is an integral feature of vox, and I know was one of the main reasons why I moved my blog here from blogger. I understand that Daisy may not be feeling well, but unless she is the. only. person. in the company, then someone else should step up to the plate and at least write a bloody update. It does indeed make me wonder if vox is ready to go belly up.

She's been consistently updating her blog and twitter, also the problem began before she got sick.

While I agree Vox could do better in terms of communication while Daisy is sick, I wonder if Amazon is playing silly buggers at their end, too.

We are doing our best to get it fixed. I'm so sorry for not responding sooner; I was out of the office last week.
