I just came in from a dip in the pool , I have on a flimsy nightie and my room is pleasantly cooll thanks to the A/C/ I'm a hale and hearty 91 years young and want to be happy.
But All I can thinkf is that this miserable muggy hot desert temperature (triple digit) is not even as hot today as Baghdad. Our soldiers are lugging around 40 lbs. of protective gear (if their lucky) at its 117 degrees. The folks there have no running water today. How can this be happening?
I'd like to talk about something else - afterall I have so much to share, maybe someone out there can get me on a different track. I hope so.
